Hello there, our names are Natalie and Violet and we created Parsimonia to express a mind set encompassing the ideas of a simplistic lifestyle. We started blogging because we wanted to spend our days being more healthy, active, and creative and hope to inspire others to do the same. We live in the the sleepy beach town known as Santa Cruz, California where we attend school, and both work barista jobs at local coffee shops. On this blog you will find the remaking of old/used materials, art, and delicious recipes made by yours truly. You will also see our posts of our daily adventures including backpacking, hikes, and whatever other outdoors activities come our way.
